A tasty Food & Wine Pairing at Fishes & More

We all know that good food and good wine go hand in hand. When appropriately paired, wine and food have the ability to enhance each other’s flavors, making them more pronounced, and render the entire taste experience a more satisfying and enjoyable one. That is why the culinary wizards in the kitchen of Fishes & More have come up with the ultimate in food and wine pairing event on Saturday, March 26th and you are invited!

The menu kicks off with seared scallops, served with pea puree, lemon zest and red beet. This first course is paired with bubbly Segura Viudus Brut. In the second course, a pan-seared Corvina will be paired with Woodbridge Pinot Grigio from wine house Robert Mondavi. If your taste buds have not been teased enough, you will be even more pleased when the in butter and herbs poached lobster is served and paired with a Napa Valley Chardonnay from the Robert Mondavi collection. ‘The More’ in the name of this restaurant is honored when the chef serves you lamb chops, accompanied by asparagus risotto and carrot mouse. The wine connoisseurs of local wine supplier Divino have paired this course with a 2018 vintage pinot noir from Napa Valley. And to complete the evening, a cheesecake mousse with raspberry compote and crumble, is complemented by a Woodbridge Moscato.
