It is a top priority for the team of Café the Plaza to make sure guests and staff are safe at our establishment during the COVID-crisis. We are happy to announce that our preventive efforts and effective protocols have been acknowledged by the Aruba Tourism Authority and that they have awarded us with the GOLDEN ‘Health & Happiness Code’ seal, which stands for excellent practice. Café the Plaza is one of the few restaurants on the island that received this qualification today.
The Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) has conducted multiple inspections and continues monitoring the COVID-19 protocols. Café the Plaza has in place: welcome protocols where the host takes temperature and sanitizes hands, direction markets, ample sanitizing dispensers, face masks for staff, signs about social distancing and washing instructions, staff training on protocols, bio-degradable anti-virus cleaning products, cleaning checklists and procedures in place, kitchen inspections and cleaning logs.
